180 degree opening hatch

Requested by a high-performance racing yacht, the crew wanted a sail locker which was un-obstructing during racing when stowing sails. A 180-degree opening flush deck hatch was designed to suit. A 100% custom dampened hinge mechanism was designed and manufactured in-house to fulfil the structural and operational demands.
